Dr. Michael Figgers is a native of Quincy, Florida. He and his family moved to Charlotte NC in 2003 to serve as the Director of Worship Arts & Music for Nations Ford Community Church. He later became the church’s Director of Ministries. He is a proud Florida A & M University Rattler and a devoted Florida State University Seminole. He is a singer, songwriter, music educator, author, and an ordained minister of the gospel. Dr. Figgers enjoys preaching, teaching, watching sports, producing stage productions, and outreach events. Most importantly, he loves spending time with his family. He has been married to his college sweetheart, Dr. Vanessa C Figgers, for 36 years. They have four sons: Michael II, Jonathan, Donovan, and Julian. Dr. Michael Figgers now serves as senior pastor of Nations Ford community Church.
